Blue Buffalo Cat Food or Science Diet??

I've been feeding my cats Science Diet for years. They like and have had no problems with it in the past. But yesterday I heard something about them now recalling foods with corn gluten. I know that Science Diet contains corn gluten. I was wondering if anyone had feed their cats Blue Buffalo "select dry food spa" Is it safer food, it contains no wheat gluten, corn or soy? I would appreciate All exchange of positive or negative experiences that you and your kitten has had with this food. I'm nervous about switching my cats to a new brand that I know anything, but I am also concerned about the corn gluten is found in Science Diet! Is there anything we can certainly feed our kittens more? Thanks in advance for any answer!:)

Alyssa has a pretty good list of foods. I like the Artemis, Innova Evo, Solid Gold and Natural CA. The others have mentioned too corn. The first two ingredients listed in a cat food proteins are human grade meat. Science Diet uses by the meat product is treated with chemicals and labeled "unfit for human consumption" and therefore make a improvemnet to lose that. SD is also one of the most expensive food and change to the others mentioned, will not suffer the financial consequences. looking at the pet store today and the Newman's dry food has a single source of meat protein in the list, followed by two grains, one of which is soy – a real no-no for cats. The Newman is almost as expensive as you can find now. Just make sure to change start by making a mixture of 3 / 4 old food with 1 / 4 of the new and use it for a week. Then make a mixture that is 1 / 2 old and 1 / 2 new and used to another week. The third week of making the mix with 3 / 4 new and 1 / 4 of age. After the new food will be accepted "directly" without discomfort stomach or diarrhea. Blue Buffalo has always been considered an excellent food. At this time some of its products have been on the retreat.
